Each academic year shall comprise of two semesters A candidate can avail a maximum of 12 Semesters (6 Years), in a continuous stretch of 6 Years from the date of admission to complete Bachelor’s Degree The BSc Programme is for a period of three years. In order to move in the Sixth Semester, a student has to clear all Credits of fourth semester.įor the movement in the said semester as described above, the candidate must have satisfactorily kept the term of the previous semester. In order to move in the Fifth Semester, a student has to clear all Credits of third semester. In order to move in the Fourth Semester, a student has to clear all Credits of second semester. In order to move in the Third Semester, a student has to clear all Credits of first semester. A student of First Semester shall be admitted in the Second Semester, if the student has successfully kept the term in first semester. Odd semesters in the month of October / November Ī candidate who does not pass the examination in any course(s) shall be allowed to appear in such failed course(s) in the subsequent examinations to be held in October / November or April / May. Examinations shall be conducted at the end of each semester. At the end of the second semester, a student must obtain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.0 and must also pass at least 50% of the courses offered to him/her in order to be promoted to the third semester.the following weight-age shall be given to examinations, home assignments, term papers, etc. if a participant fails to appear in any examination / quiz or fails to submit a term paper / home assignment in time or is unable to given his/her presentation on due date, he/she shall be given no mark in that examination/term paper/presentation, etc. the grade shall be determined keeping in view the overall performance in examinations, term papers, class test, timely completion of assignment, class presentations, etc. In addition to these examinations, marks have been assigned to quizzes, class work, home assignments, class presentations, class discussions, term paper, etc. The College shall announce the dates for the examinations well in advance. The grade given by the teacher shall be final. The determination of the form of examinations has been left to the teacher who shall be solely responsible for the conduct of examination as well as for the evaluation in his/her course. There shall be two compulsory examinations in each course: a mid-term and a final examination. ![]()
